LOTTE Shopping

Was enjoying lunch with Cik Anai when she suddenly announced...

"There's a Japan Food Sale around the concourse area.
Wanna check it out later?"

Cik Anai saw that little twinkle in my eye *_^ and so we went. We started out empty handed for a few minutes and in that small little area the crowd gathered. Good money these people are making for these things are so not cheap. YET! There are sooo many people buying them. Us included. *sigh*

Finally I spotted it!

Ah. The things I do for the love of KAT-TUN.

*giggles silly like a fangirl*

Now watch this.

How cute can it be?

(simple translation)
Junno: "Who are you?
Mysterious Man: I'm hyphen!
KAT TUN: Ah! Hyphen! *huggles*

And so KAT-TUN found their hyphen (-).
How does it related to the candy?
*shrugs* It's the rainbow thingy I guess.

And then there's this!

And now watch this.

How cute can it be? Why don't we have such advertisements here in Malaysia? It takes candy buying to a whole new level. Well that and the price too. ^^;;

These advertisements or CMs as they are called in Japan, are available in a series and if I were to buy every single flavours available today, I'll be eating only sweets and chocolate bars for the rest of the month. Gah. These plus 2 small cutely-packed biscuits and 2 yummy dark chocolate bars came to a total of approximately RM35.00 @_@

And boy do they sell packaging. Cik Anai was like... "Wah. Spot UV!", "Wah. Texture paper!", "Wah!"

*snickers* Me? I wanna go crunch on my crunky right now.

I was on hiatus?

Konbanwa Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Jweb-style entry desu!
Minus that one insignificant post down there, I've been away for one whole month.

Is this what they call Hiatus?
Ah. Unknowning Hiyashi have gone on hiatus.

Wanted to blog a few days ago but my Internet Explorer keep having errors and closes everytime I click on the "New Post" link.
Argh! Is this punishment for being away? For being lazy?

Hanako-chan and Cubbie says "Firefox! Use firefox!"
Hiyashi says that's running away from a problem.
Hiyashi is not a person that runs away. Hiyashi faces it!

Indeed, there was a bug!
Found it. Get rid of it. Now I'm back!

Get ready for a spamming weekend.
Hahaha... I doubt it.

ps: anyone knows how I can get rid of the border for these emoticons? I have pasted more initially but it just don't look good with the borders around. =(

Being different attracts

*fidgets at her seat*
Dang! I wonder if I look odd with my new hair. Sms Hanako-chan to get my thoughts away from my hair. Ah. Hanako-chan, my sms-buddy. Even though miles apart, every morning and evening, we entertain each other while we are on our way to work and on our way home. She on the LRT while I'm on the ferry.

And thus I sms-ed away till suddenly...

An unknown voice "Hello?"

*looks up* "Eh?"

FOREIGNER!

Foreigner in a very thick accent: "I want to go to XXX. Is there a bus over the other side?"

Hiyashi: "Yeah. Once you get down, you'll hear them calling out 'XXX'."

Foreigner: "Oh. Okay."

*pause* Inner thoughts: YADA! Don't talk to me. I have weird hair. >_<

Foreigner: "Where you're from? Penang?"

Woot? Shouldn't I be the one asking you that?

Hiyashi: *still busy sms-ing* "Yeah."

Foreigner: "Oh. Working or studying?"

Hiyashi: "Working." *remains very uncooperative in the conversation*

Foreigner: "What's your job?"

Hiyashi: *perks up* "Copywriter."

I love telling people about my job. Half of the time they have no idea what it's about.

Foreigner: "Operator?"

SEE? SEE! -__-;;

Hiyashi: "CO-PY-WRIT-ER."

Foreigner: "Oooo..."

I doubt he really knows.

Foreigner: "What's your name?"

What?! Wait a minute. Fine. I shall take part in this conversation.
*closes her phone* It's my turn now!

Hiyashi: "Jovin. What's yours?"

Foreigner: "Mehtheor.."

Hiyashi: "Eh? Meteor?"

Foreigner: "No, no. Mehtor."

Meteor. Methor... whatever. I doubt I heard it right anyway. His accent was really really thick.

Hiyashi: "Ah. So where you're from Methor?"

Methor: "Jordan."

Hiyashi: "Oh. Working? Traveling?"

Methor: "Studying."

Oops!

Methor: "I'm taking my PhD at UXX. I came over with my friends to Penang two days ago for the Raya weekend."

Hiyashi: "Then how come you're alone?"

Methor: "They went back yesterday. I don't want to go back yet so I stayed an extra night."

Hiyashi: "Oh. Hey, how did you apply for UXX all the way from Jordan?"

Methor: "Online. I apply online through the website and payment online through VISA."

Hiyashi: "Ah..."

Methor: "Too bad I applied UXX, probably one of the worst university in Malaysia."

Well, that's a bit harsh. That's why I left all the details out in this post. Don't wanna offend anyone.

Methor: "There's nothing there!"

*blinks*

Methor: "It's almost like Puxxxxx. You know Puxxxxx?"

Hiyashi: "Nope."

Methor: "It's a place where they lock up people there."

*blinks* Wooooot?!!

Hiyashi: "You're comparing UXX to that place?!"

Methor: "Ya. Especially during the holidays. Everybody goes back to their hometown and it becomes completely deserted. Nothing at all."

Hiyashi: "Ah."

*silence*

Methor: "Ni hao ma?"

*blinks*

Hiyashi: "You took classes in uni?"

Methor: "Nope. A coursemate thought me. She's from Perak."

Hiyashi: "Ah."

Well, the conversation was longer than that but let's not go into too much details. This hair serve a purpose now. It's an attraction. LOL. Good? Bad? It works both ways.

Good night! =)

我变,我变,我变变变

One Year. Four Hairstyles.

One Good.
One Didn't Last.
One Overgrew.
One... still kinda speechless.

Raya was celebrated with a trip to the hair salon.
Boy was it an experience!

One moment I was Princess Leia.

And suddenly smoke was coming out of my head!

And all for this very weird thingy on my head now.

Dad: Stop messing with your hair!
Hiyashi: *pouts*
Dad: At least you tried.
Hiyashi: Yeah. I'm experimental.

One Year. Four Hairstyles.

At least I can proudly declare I'm brave to try.

*LOL*

*Sigh*

Now that's just plain contradicting.

^^;;

I'm Obligated...

to say

THANK YOU

TERIMA KASIH

谢谢

ありがとう

*Am not going for more languages than that.*

to Encik Chi for giving me a lift to the ferry terminal.

I said a byebye and the car door closed. I felt bad so I thought what not, a simple sms to show my gratitude should be a nice gesture. ^^;; Instead I got a "I want you to thank me in your blog" reply.

"......."

Well, there you go! One whole post dedicated to you.

Hmm... then again, let's not be selfish shall we?

Therefore, at the same time I would like to thank...

Cik Datang, Cik Anai-anai, Yen-san, Easter-Bunny *that's a very very odd nickname for the person intended but till I find a more appropriate one, Easter-Bunny she shall be, for my notebook's battery is running out* yikes!

and to every kind-hearted soul who have ever given me a ride home or to the jetty.

Hah! That includes the bus drivers the sapu teksi guy...

Ooooo.... and my DAD!

Sankyuuu.

*bows*

Hiyalish: a continuous effort to educate

In attempt to make every day a learning process for those around me. Hiyalish have been silently trying to educate since its first lesson. For previous "great" lessons in life, please scroll down and help yourself to the "hiyalish" tag on the right. Douzo. -->

And for today's lesson which will lead you to the below post is the word:

fon-blogi
Definition:
An attempt to blog using the phone yet without the most updated technology just yet as oppose to actual "phone-blogging". fon-blogi on the other hand, fully utilises the most basic functions of a phone, namely text messaging and it's save option.

An example is shown below this post for further understanding.

fon-blogi is specially encouraged for those who tend to have sudden muses visiting their brains in the most unexpected time and place yet without the most high-tech gadgets in hand for instant solutions.
