Spaghetti ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Sushi ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Dim Sum ♥ ♥ ♥
Kuih ♥ ♥ ♥
Now you know what to ajak me makan depending on the budget. Alright?
It's another "I'm weird that way" kinda thing. My mom says I could have them on Sundays but I say "No!" Sundays are my only official day off, meaning it's the one and only day of the week whereby I can sleep till the sun comes up, shining in and urging me to wake up before it gets too hot. For as much as I love my Dim Sum, I cherish my one and only free-from-waking-up-at-6.30am-day. *yawns* And so I sacrifice the next thing I can afford, my work leave. ^^;;
Well, what do you know. I now no longer need to make that sacrifice anymore to get my Dim Sum. Now, once in a blue moon, I get them on Thursdays or even on working Saturdays. Yup, I have found a once-in-awhile-breakfast-partner. One who enjoys her bao as much as I love my siu mai. And so such a little nibble before we head off to work certainly make a wonderful start to a possibly hardworking day.
It's no surprise that we usually are the youngest pair in the shop. Now, that ain't a problem for me, except we tend to get unintended attention that way. Looking up and looking around, you'll find an amused aunty staring at us or an equally curious uncle smiling at the fact that two young women are enjoying their aged-old breakfast. Teehehehe... even the shop owner was a bit surprised the other day when we were asked for a table. She thought we were there to tabao only. -.-;;
I guess all that was missing was a Chinese Newspaper. Two young women sipping tea, eating bao and reading the paper. Now that'll probably be a great scene, wouldn't it? *smiles*
