Patriotism strikes

50 years of independence! Visit Malaysia 2007! If it's any time to be patriotic, it's definately this year. Thus, Hiyashibeeps is doing its little part by adding *cough cough* an All Malaysian Blogger Project button at the sidebar. As far as statistic goes, there are some foreigners visiting this slacking blog from time to time.

Of course, I have to choose a button I can relate to the most. FOOD! Come on, as long as you eat, a part of Malaysia is always in you. And don't go telling me off about the trip to the toilet. *rolls eyes*

And how can you promote this beloved country to foreigners without instilling the love for your own country and its yummy food among the locals? So fellow Malaysians, I bring you the Nasi Lemak Shop.

And just in case the photo is not clear enough.
That's 04-2279864. I repeat 04-2279864!

*shrugs* I wonder if this works. But the place is nice, especially the atmosphere. Not as hectic as kopitiams. And to quote a frequent customer...

"I can really enjoy a plate of tasty nasi lemak without smelling like char kui teow at the end of the meal."

Well said indeed. *applause*

And if you're a food lover like me, I suggest you order an extra small bowl of rice to go with the loads of side dishes that comes with it.

Now all that's missing is the photo of the delicious nasi lemak to tempt you further. Dang! Should have taken a pic before I eat. I always remember after I finished my meal. -.-;;

New Look?

Urgh. Emergency Template Change because the image for the previous layout was down.

Uwaaa. Ugly. Ugly!

Hiyashibeeps went to E.R.

Not sure if it's temporary or permenant, am not taking the risk. Got to change! Half way through the surgery I realised! This current layout remains me of *ahem* work-related stuff. Why oh why? -.-;;

On a side note, thank you Isnaini for the previous wonderful layout. One last plug-in for you till I tap into your expertise again.

*grumbles* This was not I wanted to blog about tonight.

The Random Series pt02

It always amuses me when I see a shoe on the road.
While driving. While walking.
I’m puzzled.
Why is there a shoe on the road?
Then again, it could be an unfortunate motorist who had lost his or her shoe while on the road.
It could have drop out of the rubbish truck. *shrugs*
And after given much thought, I thought it was reasonable after all.
Then it happened!
I saw not one but two shoes on the road.
Yes! A pair of shoes on the road.
Can someone please enlighten me on this matter?
Did someone got kidnap?
Did they *ahem* got distracted in the middle of the night.
But that would make sense if there were two pairs of shoes.
I don’t understand.

Maybe someone decided to leave their mark in life…
… in their own weird and funny kind of way.

Say No! to Fast Food

Nooooooooo!

Whatever effort the government, the people, the world are doing to discourage kids, youths, humanity from the 'obesitisers' is definitely not working.

Hiyalish Lesson No.1
Obesitiser - a genre of food, particularly fast food. *yummy, tasty food* that encourages obesity.
End of Hiyalish Lesson No.1

I get to decide what's for lunch today! And of course, Italiano!! Well, the closest and more affordable thing to it -> Pizza ♥ *hearts*!

Got a treat from sis for tea time. And when sis is in-charge, it's none other than... McDonalds!

Last but not least. Dinner was on dad! *coughs* Okay, you'll probably know what's for dinner anyway. But... *drums roll* KFC... *sings* that's where I want to be!

Ah... *frowns*
