Happy Chinese New Year!
Am just in time for the new layout. \^^/
Though firefox users probably just think I have no cordination in terms of layout cos the page is a chaos in firefox. Sorry.
Hiyashibeeps is I.E and Safari friendly as far as I know.
I know this clip is one year old but it's still my most favourite Chinese New Year Medley. ^^
In conjunction with Chinese New Year, this post shall have something no other post has before.

Anthony Bourdain made my day
On today's Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations.
Place of visit:
Osaka, Japan.
Host:
Two Young Japanese Comedians.
Scene:
Walking down the streets of Osaka.
Bourdain : Who are these people? *points to posters everywhere*
Host No.1 : These are famous people.
Host No.2 : Go get a haircut like them.
And that had just made my day! Of all shows in which KAT-TUN and Yamapi made an appearance! A show on Travel and Living about FOOD!
Yup, They ARE Famous People after all!

The power of leng chai
Went shopping with mom at Carrefour this afternoon.
Sunday Afternoon Shopping + Chinese New Year Coming Soon = Chaos!
So basically after 3 hours, I was on the verge of scolding everyone who is walking in front of me... very slowly. With frustration plastered on my face, my mom realised it's time to go home.
Paid a visit to the magazine store while waiting for my dad to arrive.
Overhead a conversation of a Malay couple.
Lady (points to a magazine): Bang, ni lah drama yang ditayang pukul 7 tu.
*note: The drama is a taiwanese drama called "Silence" starring *cough cough* Zai Zai ... one of the guy from F4.*
Man (sees and nods)
Lady: Bang, potonglah rambut macam dia.
Man: -__-;;
Me? That just made all my frustration go away. The guy was a normal decent looking guy with typical simple haircut and wears glasses, your typical nice guy. Ah... the power of "leng chai". Not that I'm a big fan of Zai Zai... hahaha..
Oh ya. On a side note, we went home with one plastic bag containing 4 items. Hahaha... after over 3 hours of shopping! Looks like I shall meet Chaos next weekend again.

Updating Marathon Mode
Topic No.1 - TangYuan
I promised S.Yee I'll put her mama's special "kam pou tong yuen" up on my blog. Usually you'll find these stuff round in shape, either have it big or small, with or without filling, dark coloured ginger taste soup or sweet syrup. These however, are very special tong yuen wish I'm glad I've eaten one. Another colleague keep making fun, saying every one signifies one year, by eating one you'll grow a year older. *shrugs* If that's the case I'll be an old old lady then. That's right, I ate lots of them. So be it! To a new year of great prosperity!

In response to Hanako-bachan's shopping spree at MNG. Here's my jacket instead. Wee..
I love my jacket! Though I rarely wears it... It's unofficially a Maru Jacket as well... haha..
Topic No.3 - Winter time in Malaysia
Yup, it's colder than usual and it's pouring! Too bad it's not nice white little snowflakes but big fat raindrops. Floods, gah... in Johor of all places. Do hope Fangy-kun is doing fine and Lem-san is not all soaking wet travelling to work everyday, not that I'm any better.
Yup, that's Snoopy cycling happily under the heavy rain outside and Garfield is standing there trying to hitch a ride.
*shrugs* Stickers on my dad's car. Hahaha.. my mom believes putting stickers indirectly show this as a family car thus, lessen the possibility of being aimed by car thieves. Maybe it does help? *touch wood*
Okies, I have more to blog. My phone memory is full with the photos I've been taking and the lack of motivation of blogging about them. So if I'm motivated enough tonight, I'll do another post! *_*
