WHUAHH!!!

That's WHUAHH!!! with two Hs and three !!!
That's how BIG of a deal this story is about...
and that could very be the shortest title post for Hiyashibeeps.

Could be.

Not sure.

Bad memory.

Very good footing though.

Wait. What's this about anyway?

Oh yes. Here's the story...

*clears throat*

OH MY GOD! You would never believe it! Umm... so... was in a long brainstorming + briefing session till 6.30pm. Oh wait! Did I mention I only had Loh Mee for lunch? Did I know Loh Mee will not last me till dinner? Yes I did. Did I buy extra Indian curry puff as a snack? Yes I did. Did I foresee the meeting to end at 6.30pm? No I did not.

By then I realised perut sudah masuk angin. *sad face* Plus it was the first day of that bloody monthly ritual. So honestly I dunno the awful cramps were coming from gastric pain or menstrual pain. Probably both. Urgh. And after a long absence from your work desk, you'll have people waiting for your return, ready to fire you with all kinds of questions, needs and wants! When all I wanted to do is bend down and hope the pain goes away.

Wait wait! We haven't reached the WHUAHH!!! part yet.
Building the climax here.

So I finally left the office about an hour later and got home another 30 - 45 minutes later. PSP-san aka Gadget Boy dropped me off at the usual spot at the outer road of my house. I stepped out, said bye-bye and lifted my feet up to cross the drain.

AND SUDDENLY...

Stomach cramped!
WHUAH.

I knew I'm not going to make it across.
WHUAH!

I knew I'm not going to make it back either.
WHUAHH!!

And I landed one feet in the longkang on my black heels nonetheless.
WHUAHH!!!

PSP-san hit the breaks five meters away from me. Oh boy! I climbed back up. Stared at the back of his car. Took a breather, crossed the drain and walk towards the house.

All that and my instant thought was
"I should take up Kungfu. I got talent."

o_O

I'm weird that way.

But seriously. Like WHUAHH!!!

Last Week in Pictures

Made a trip down to Kuala Lumpur last week to send young sis back to uni. There were certainly lots of 'picture-perfect' moments caught on camera and to save the hassle of breaking them into separate posts which, by the way, knowing myself will take waaay looooong time to update.

Family Night In with the 'Gods'

*grins*

Godparents, that is.

Dad truly enjoyed himself that night when we all gathered at the dining area to drink and be jolly. Godpa appointed dad as his assistant bartender and as you can see from above, dad took his role seriously. *points to top inserted pic on the right* That's mom giggling at dad's silly antics. *points to bottom inserted pic* There was even a 'prize-giving' ceremony.

Family Day Out at Fullhouse

We practically live, eat and breathe at Sunway whenever we're down KL. What's with sis studying at Sunway University, godparents living in Subang and with Sunway Pyramid the meeting point for all meet-ups.

Mom was quite happy with the place. Want to impress a mom? Give her value for money. We ordered two set lunch and two a la carte. Though the difference in price between the two was just RM2.00 for an additional drink, soup and dessert. However, RM4.00 saved is well still RM4.00 saved. :P It's a Penangite's trait to count every penny's worth. Besides, you see that two large 'jug' of ice lemon tea there? We couldn't even finished that, let alone 4 of those.

Dinner Out with Friends

At Garden, Sunway Pyramid.

*pauses for 5 seconds*

I did not spent 10 hours at Sunway Pyramid okay!
I did leave the building after lunch.
I just went back there for round 2 with friends.

And since I was early as usual. :P I had to make sure I didn't step into shops that I've visited during the day. Cubbie called me paranoid but come on, there was barely anyone in Marks & Spencers during a working day okay? I'm pretty sure they remembered the lady in pink who didn't buy anything or worst, the lady who was there the entire day! :O

Take a Swing for Your Blessing

Our final stop of the trip was the Kwan Yin Tong Temple somewhere near Ipoh. Mom read an article about the place and was eagered to visit the place. I met up with Ching Ching for lunch and she took us there and it is here that the prize-winning shot was taken!

TADAAA!

I say the best shots are always the non-posey ones. Mom was actually still fixing her hair for the shoot when I begun taking the pictures. They thought all I took was one 'proper smiling' picture and was surprised when I showed them the rest. See there dad helping mom out of the carriage, now that's love! ♥ *grins grins grins*

Oh oh! Lo and behold! The gal who send me amazing cookies, not once but twice! Ching Ching aka Chingy aka Cheah-san!

*sigh*

It was a wonderful trip.

I Had A Dream

That was this morning but truth to be told, I always have strange dreams. Last week was the ultimate dream week for me. They're almost movie-like. Action-packed with gun shooting, car chasing and even artificial intelligence. I'm always hesistant to share them with others for fear that people might think I'm crazy or just making the stories up. Half of the time I get the "Are you for real?" look from my sister. You know that "skeptical eyebrow scrunch up" kind of look you get when people think you're bullshitting them. And that's coming from my sister.

"Were you watching any movies before you went to bed?"

"Umm... Glee?"

I do watch movies every day during my ride to and back from work, thanks to Gadget Boy. But all I had been watching for the past four weeks were Harry Potter movies, all six of them. If movie-watching was the cause behind my dreams, I would be a witch casting spells.

Now all these dreams are still merely dreams that
could possibily mean something or nothing at all.

But this morning, I had a dream that made a difference to reality. Out of the blue, with no actual beginning, I was dreaming that I needed to go to the loo. Yaya. I know that sometimes that happens to almost anyone. It's sorta a sign your body and brain is trying to tell you that... well, you literally need to go to the loo.

Here's where it got interesting. I couldn't find the loo, or at least I was still looking for it when I got distracted by food. Can you believe that? I actually stood there in my dream, pondering whether I should continue my mission to answer nature's call or sit and eat. In my defence, the food was seriously gooooood. Though I don't remember what they were. :P

Guess what?!

I sat and ate, holding back my need to pee.

WOOT?!

I guess that's the Real Me being stubborn and refuse to get up and go to the toilet. Well, kudos to my brain and my power to dream. While I was eating away in my dream, the 'sleeping me' heard my dad knocking on my door and telling me he needed to use the toilet. See! Here's where dream and reality blurred out. I knew I was dreaming, I even rationalise that mom was probably using the toilet downstairs and dad needed to use the attached bathroom in my room. So I actually forced myself to wake up, walk over and open the door for my dad.

Guess what again?!

Duh. There's no one there.

Brain 1. Me 0.
I lost.

So I closed the door and went to the toilet. For real this time.
Oh I went back to bed after that but the food was gone. :P

Korea Called And Told Me He's In Front Of My House

Got a call one day from an unknown number while I was at work.

[SCENE 1: Vin answers the call]

Mysterious Caller: Hello, Ms Jovin?

Me: Yes?

Mysterious Caller: mumbles mumbles Korea mumbles...

Me: Huh? Korea? *If there's anywhere, Mysterious Caller sounded very much like 'India' to me*

Mysterious Caller: Korea... ini Korea!

Me: *still not getting it*

Mysterious Caller: Hantar barang!

Me: Ohh! Courier!

*******

He probably thought ini Ah Moi tak reti Bahasa Inggeris. Imagine that! It almost sounded like I was the one who failed English. -__-

*******

[SCENE 2: Mysterious Caller shall henceforth be reintroduced as Courier Guy.]

Courier Guy: Saya kat depan rumah sekarang. Hantar barang dari Ipoh!

Me: Ah! *I knew instantly who the sender was* Rumah tak ada orang keh?

Courier Guy: Ada kut.

Me: Okay, I telefon rumah, you tunggu ya.

*******

And so I called and finally someone at home opened the door and received the package on my behalf.

*******

You get Chinese New Year cards,
I get Big Box of Goodies for Chinese New Year!

*stares*
Ummm... not exactly what I was expecting.

TADAAA!
Improved version of Kawaii Cookies.
Much more refined, much more cleaner, much more cuter
and much much more heartwarming...

...because this time, it came in abundance!

Green Pea Cookies!
Honestly who else sends self-made cookies like Cheah-san?

*hugs cookie bottles*

Oh yes!
The rabbits somehow managed to hop all the way from Ipoh too.

*sigh in contentment*

In conclusion, you don't really need a lot of friends.
You just need a few awesome ones.

Plus points if they're nifty bakers!

*grins*
